Rottnest

Gordon was chaplain on Rottnest for a week. He kindly took us all with him to enjoy lots of fresh air and exercise.

Much needed Morning Tea at Dome after our steep ride to Wadjimup lighthouse.

A spot of de-cobwebbing at the Clergy house.

We cycled from home to Hillarys boat harbour. Put our bikes on the ferry. Rode them all week and home again. Pretty cool.

Little Salmon bay.

The brave swimmers.

A venomous snake snapped by Hannah at Cape Vlamigh, the Western tip of the island

.

Peacock and trees a few steps from our house.

lake not far from back of house.

Birdwatching! As it was school holidays, there were some fabulous free activities. A guided walk observing birds. We also went for a tour of the night sky, and a tour about quokkas.

Gordon taught the kids how to play 500!! Also Ali learned phase ten and patience!

Some rehabilitation required after so much relaxation.

  2. Once a year. We put our preferences into a hat in April. Next time we might try for summer holidays so we can snorkel in warm water! x
